29日、アップルコンピュータからMac OS X 10.4“Tiger”とMac OS X 10.3“Panther”向けに「Security Update 2005-009」を公開。ともに、クライアント版とサーバー版が用意され、例のごとく「すべてのユーザーに適用を推奨」としています。
Mac OS X 10.4.3以降に対応に対応するTiger用のアップデートでは、apache_mod_ssl、CoreFoundation、CoreTypes、curl、iodbcadmin、OpenSSL、Safari、sudo、syslogがアップデート、サーバー版は、「Apache2」「passwordserver」「ServerMigration」を加えた12種類を修正。
Mac OS X 10.3.9以降に対応するPanther用ではapache_mod_ssl、iodbcadmin、OpenSSL、QuickDraw、Safari、sudoと、サーバー版がApache2、passwordserver、ServerMigrationを含む9種類が修正されるそうです。
このうち、Safariは4種類の脆弱性に対応。
